In Russia it is said everywhere that vaccination against Covid-19 is optional, but apparently this is not true, as at least 60% of staff in service industries, which includes everything from hospitality to accommodation and transport, must be vaccinated with at least one dose by July 15.
"Vaccination remains voluntary", Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, according to CNN.
But while Peskov says that anyone can refuse the vaccine, but cannot be employed in any of these sectors, so practically the vaccine is mandatory.
"If a Russian works in one of these sectors, but he has made a decision not to be vaccinated, he must leave this job and can start work in those sectors where it is allowed to work without being vaccinated", he said.
It is not known if this is a strategy or if this is how it should work in order not to spread more Covid-i, but the employees of these sectors in this way will be forced to be vaccinated. / Adapted from CNN for Labyrinth
