The second dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus has started today.

The first to receive it was Prime Minister Edi Rama, who told the media that immunization is needed for the entire cycle and that he cannot be called immune to the virus yet.

While the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu emphasized that so far there are more than 650 doctors and nurses who have been vaccinated, as they are also the target group who are most at risk, given that they are on the front line of what is called "war ” against the virus.

"There are more than 650 doctors and nurses who have been vaccinated so far and are receiving the second dose, according to the established time. We will continue with the vaccination campaign. We will continue with the capillary vaccination, when the vaccines from Pfizer arrive. We will soon finalize an Astra Zeneca campaign. After the doctors, there will be vaccination for the elderly as well", Manastirliu said.

While Prime Minister Rama announced yesterday that he received the news that vaccines from "Pfizer" will arrive in Albania within the month of February.

"Yesterday, late at dinner, we received confirmation from "Pfizer" that the anticipated 10,000 doses will arrive in mid-February and the other 30,000 doses will arrive within February.", the prime minister told the media. / Labyrinth
