The residents of Paskuqan rose in protest today, opposing the expansion of the Great Ring Road.
They accuse the government of diverting the project.
While 100 houses are planned to be demolished, for 8 km of road, residents say that the project deviated after the elections of April 25, on July 17 of last year.
One of the residents spoke to News 24.
“The Ring Project has been diverted. My apartment is affected by the project. I call on the institutions to help us in the meantime. Put your hand on your heart and don't let our houses and lands be destroyed. We have complained. The project was changed after the voting ended, for its own interests. We have made a request to the municipality of Kamza, and to the prime minister, but we have not received any response", he expressed. / Labyrinth
