Joker, the scary Android virus that can empty your bank account

As in the Batman movies, the return of the Joker always opens up a new plot thread.

Only that in this case we are talking about "malware", a type of virus that can affect the real life of users.

Known for four years now, Joker repeatedly infects several Android applications by stealing phone credit.

In fact, one of its specialties is the registration without the user's knowledge of the services paid even through the current bank accounts with which the tariff plans are paid.

The most worrying aspect is that the malware hides inside the applications that are placed on Google Play.

Over the years there have been over 1,700 apps that Google has had to remove from the Play Store.

You should be careful of: Auxiliary Message, Element Scanner, Fast Magic SMS, Free CamScanner, Go Messages, Super Message, Super SMS, Travel Wallpapers. /Adapted from Corriere Della Sera for Labyrinth
