A large fire has engulfed the top floor of a building near the area of the former bus park in Tirana.
The incident happened around 14:20 on "Sali Butka" street, while the causes of the fire are still unknown.
It is learned that the firefighting forces are at the scene and are working to extinguish the fire.
“On 14.09.2023, around 2:20 p.m., on "Sali Butka" street, a fire broke out on the balcony of an apartment, on the top floor of a building. At the scene are the police services and the fire brigade, which are working to put out the fire. The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the event", informs the police.
According to news television, the flames have been brought under control in a part of the building while work is being done to isolate other fire foci.
The entire building has been evacuated, meanwhile two ambulances have arrived at the scene. / Labyrinth
