The head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj sees the decision of the Constitutional Court on the suspension of the Theater as positive.
"The Constitutional Court gives the right to the Municipality of Tirana, leaves in force the decision for the demolition of the National Theater", writes Veliaj.
But according to the Constitution:
The law on "Design and realization of the urban project and the new building of the National Theater" is incompatible with the Constitution.
The law is incompatible with international agreements and violates the principle of the rule of law.
