Temperatures up to 49.6 degrees, 486 people die in Canada

486 people have lost their lives as a result of high temperatures in Canada.

According to foreign media, in some places the temperatures have reached 49.6 degrees Celsius.

This is unusual, for a country that is covered by ice and snow for most of the year.

Health authorities say more than a quarter of the victims have been recorded in the city of Vancouver. / Labyrinth
