Delia Fiallo, the author and screenwriter of telenovelas, has passed away at the age of 96.
She is known as the "Mother of telenovelas", not only by her colleagues, but also by her fans.
Her daughter, Delia Betancourt, confirmed to NPR that Fiallo died Tuesday at her home in Miami.
