When temperatures have reached 40 degrees Celsius, the Ministry of Health gives some advice.
MOH advice:
-Extreme heat, what can you do? Keep away from heat
-Stay in the shade
-Avoid strenuous activities during the hottest hours of the day
- Do not leave children or animals in parked cars
-Spend 2-3 hours a day in fresh environments
- If you don't feel well, ask for help
-Move immediately to a fresh environment
-Drink water to hydrate
