Steven Paul Jobs, the inventor and co-founder of "Apple" was born on February 24, 1955 in Green Bay, California.

Known as Steve Jobs, he was also a co-founder at the PIXAR Animation Company and a member of the board of directors at the DISNEY Company.

After a power struggle with the board of directors in 1985, Jobs left Apple and founded NEXT, a computing platform specializing in the higher education and business markets.

He served as CEO and major shareholder until Disney's acquisition of Pixar in 2006.

He also played a role in introducing the LaserWriter, one of the first laser printers widely available on the market.

The first ad for Apple was made by him in 1984. It became the most famous ad for that year. While in 1985 he was expelled from the company to return in 1997 and since then he started to transform the company by bringing it out of collapse.

Jobs died at the age of 56 in California after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. /Referred Wikipedia labyrinth
