Today, 76 years ago, Sali Berisha, cardiologist and Albanian politician, was born. He was born on October 15, 1944, while he has held many important positions, from that of the president to the head of the opposition.
Berisha served as the second President of Albania in 1992-1997 and Prime Minister from 2005-2013. He was also the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania twice, from 1991-1992 and then again from 1997-2013.
